ACCLAIMED SONGWRITER CHRIS EATON TO RELEASE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SOLO PROJECT, DARE TO DREAM ON
OCTOBER 14

PROJECT RELEASE TO COINCIDE WITH "LEAD ME ON" REUNION TOUR WITH AMY GRANT IN THROUGHOUT OCTOBER & NOVEMBER, 2008

September 24, 2008 (Nashville, TN) - Esteemed British songwriter, Chris Eaton, has spent the last 2 decades writing songs for some of the best and brightest in pop and Christian music.  Now, he has created a long-awaited project of new material written over the past year, for his own project, completely written and recorded by Eaton for the first time in ten years.  The project focuses on the art and convictions of living a happier, healthier, healed live in the grace of God.  DARE TO DREAM, which releases October 14 will be available through his own West Lodge record label, online at www.chriseaton.co.uk and at upcoming tour dates throughout the U.S. and Europe, continuously.

Eaton, a six time GMA Dove Award nominee (three times for Song of the Year, and three times for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year) and eight time BMI Christian Music Award winner has had his songs recorded by artists such as Amy Grant, Jessica Simpson, Vince Gill, Casting Crowns, Janet Jackson and Diamond Rio to name just a few.  He has penned 13 number one CCM songs in the US, three UK hit singles, and was awarded American Songwriter Magazine's Christian Song of the Year in 1993 and Billboard Magazine's CCM Song of the Year in 1994, both for his collaboration with Amy Grant on the song "Breath of Heaven." His unique brand of 'white soul' songwriting has made him a favorite among artists of all genres, however his four solo albums, including his 1986 debut album Vision, has garnered him a loyal fan base on both sides of the Atlantic.

Dare to Dream carries on Eaton's personal, heart-felt message of hope and encouragement.  "This album project, for me, is a simple pointer to all of us, not to give up, but to let go.   To leave our burdens in His hands and embrace the hope of every day as a new beginning," explains Eaton.  "It's time to leave the past well and truly behind and be a child again....  Not with unrealistic dreams, but real dreams of being salt and light, moving in power and joy, to spread the news that all is not lost."

Continues Eaton..... "We have the victory.  We need to run into the fields of freedom, with renewed spirit, holding your head up and growing ever stronger.  Dream, if you dare!"

Dare to Dream released worldwide October 14.
